When Swing Set, a video production company with a client list including Maserati and Post Malone, moved to Long Beach, Studio Other was engaged by RDC architecture firm to provide five unique mixing desks and one custom reception desk. Swing Set's primary goal for the desks was to accommodate all the technology and equipment required for recording, editing, and mixing. Made with multi-ply surfaces with a soft eased edge for ergonomics, curved rolled steel end panels, and vintage amp-inspired storage cabinets, each unique desk tied back into the overall architecture and design direction. Similarly, the reception desk features a beautiful wave-shaped steel front that plays into the space's theme.

Because Swing Set is in the creative space themselves, they were heavily engaged in the design of each piece, ensuring that each desk was highly functional and meshed with the overall vision for the space.
